Children - adolescent counselling
Although we often think how great it is for children, how carefree they are, and how little they perceive the problems in the world around them, unfortunately, this is not entirely true. Significant changes in a family’s life—such as moving, divorce, or the death of a loved one—or natural developmental crises in a child's growth have a significant impact on them. These events often affect children deeply, resulting in unusual behavioural and emotional patterns that a responsible parent cannot ignore.
It's not just difficult for those living with a teenager or adolescent; the many changes they go through are also quite challenging for them, not only physically and biologically but also emotionally and mentally. At such times, they distance themselves from their parents, and even if they used to share their thoughts, feelings, and problems with them, it becomes increasingly difficult to do so. They often feel awkward and they tend to choose to rely on the opinion and support of their peers. However, this can often lead to misunderstandings and more serious emotional and behavioural problems.
In such and similar cases, the help of a highly trained and experienced psychologist who easily connects with children and young people can be very beneficial.
