Psychological counselling
The healing of psychological, emotional, and relational problems using psychological tools is almost as old as humanity itself. However, since the end of the 19th century, thanks to the surge of scientific interest, methods and techniques have significantly developed. The goals of the counselling process, however, have remained the same: to answer the questions brought by the client.
A psychologist, with their extensive scientific knowledge and highly developed empathy skills, helps to view the situation from a different perspective, thereby bringing influencing factors, opportunities, or even hindering forces into the client's awareness. Understanding these can make the current situation clearer and easier to resolve.
During psychological counselling, I deal with a wide range of issues. The most common difficulties people seek help for are:
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Relationship crises
-
Attachment difficulties
-
Life management problems
-
Psychological complaints caused by increased stress
-
Self-esteem issues
-
Eating difficulties
-
Trauma-related issues
Depending on the nature of the problem, psychological counselling may consist of 3-5 sessions or even longer-term regular meetings.
