General information
Psychological Support Process
Psychological support always begins with an initial problem-assessment session. In the case of children, this session takes place with the parent(s)—ideally both parents—without the child being present. During this conversation, the client has the opportunity to share the presenting issue in detail, along with related factors and the current life situation.
At the end of the problem-assessment session, I share my initial impressions and outline the expected course of the counselling process based on the available information. We then establish the framework through a verbal agreement, determining approximately how much time and how many sessions might be needed to address the issue, as well as the frequency and format of our meetings.
Session Formats
For children, I primarily provide in-person sessions. For adults, consultations can be conducted either in person or online via Skype, Zoom, Google Meets, or Facebook Messenger video calls.
Financial Information
After each session, clients have 24 hours to settle the cost, which can be done via bank transfer or in cash in person.
You can find information about current rates here.
Cancellation Policy
Sessions must be cancelled no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. For cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, a cancellation fee of £25 applies. If the client does not show up and fails to notify me of their absence, the full session fee is payable.
Late Arrivals
If a client is late for their scheduled appointment and does not inform me, I can hold the session for up to 15 minutes and continue with the consultation. Beyond this, a new appointment will need to be scheduled.
